Established in 1976, Clifford Brick and Tile Transport is a long-standing family owned & operated business specializing in the distribution of bricks, pavers and roof tiles for Australia's leading brands including Selkirk, PGH Bricks, Monier Roofing, Boral & Austral. With our head office & operations based in Ballarat, our fleet includes 45+ semi-trailers and truck & quad dog combinations all with all terrain forklifts onboard. Our services extend across all of Victoria and into southern NSW, as well as operations located in Adelaide. 

About the role

Based at Golden Grove S.A you will be delivering products to building sites in Adelaide and surrounding areas for PGH, one of the largest brick manufacturers in Australia. You will be using a late model Prime Mover with a Triaxle Drop Deck Trailer and an All terrain forklift on board to unload at site.

About the role

We are currently seeking experienced drivers to be based out of our Golden Grove, S.A depot to be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our customer's product to site. The role is full time, Monday to Friday.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience operating a semi-trailer and/or truck & quad dog combinations as well as forklift equipment.

• Ability to effectively communicate with members of the public, contractors and trades people whilst representing the Company.

• Enjoy flexibility while working independently to achieve your daily deliveries. 

• Ability to think on your feet and address minor technical and/or operational problems if they arise.

• Understanding of OHS and COR. 

• A good knowledge of Adelaide and surrounds and an understanding of the building industry would be an advantage.

Skills and experience

Mandatory requirements to be successful in this role:

• H.C. licence.

• Forklift licence with proven operational experience.

• Industry White Card.
