About the role and where you will be working:
Southern Cross Care WA is seeking a compassionate and organised Volunteer and NODA Coordinator to support the delivery of our Volunteer Services and No One Dies Alone (NODA) program. This role plays an important part in ensuring volunteers are effectively recruited, supported, coordinated, and recognised across our Residential services.
Working closely with the Head of Pastoral Care & Volunteer Services, you will coordinate the mobilisation of volunteers, oversee volunteer administration and compliance requirements, support volunteer training and engagement activities, and facilitate the NODA program to ensure residents receiving end of life care are supported by trained volunteers when needed.
This is a part time maximum term contract position (45 hours per fortnight) providing maternity leave cover from 12 October 2026 to 25 April 2027.

You are a compassionate, highly organised professional who is passionate about supporting volunteers and enhancing the lives of older people. You thrive in a people focused role and can confidently balance coordination, administration, and stakeholder engagement responsibilities.
You bring strong interpersonal skills and a genuine ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. With a calm and empathetic approach, you provide support in sensitive situations while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and respect.
You are comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities, and using technology to support efficient service delivery. Most importantly, you share Southern Cross Care WA's values and commitment to enabling extraordinary outcomes for residents, volunteers, and colleagues.
