Part-time Cleaner

About the role

You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for customers, staff and visitors. Our cleaners ensure each site consistently meets high presentation and hygiene standards that reflect our clients' brand image. This role is for 1 Hour per day, 5 days a week and the candidate must be able to work after 6pm.

Key responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining retail areas, commercial offices, entrances, walkways, amenities, staff areas and common spaces

• Performing routine cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and waste removal

• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms, kitchens as required

• Cleaning food courts, dining areas, office kitchens or other high-traffic areas where required

• Cleaning glass, windows, doors, mirrors and other surfaces to maintain a polished presentation

• Responding promptly to spills and other cleaning requirements throughout the site

• Replenishing consumables and ensuring supplies are fully stocked

• Emptying bins and separating waste in accordance with site procedures

• Reporting maintenance, security or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor or site manager

• Ensuring cleaning equipment is used, stored and maintained correctly

About you

• Have no criminal record and be able to obtain and maintain a valid Police Check

• Be available to work after 6pm

• Be available to commence as soon as possible

• Have strong time-management skills, attention to detail and thorough

• Be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Maintain a professional standard of presentation

• Have a reliable, flexible and adaptable approach

• Have a good command of the English language

• Be able to provide a Police Clearance Certificate, Tax File Number and superannuation details

• Previous retail and/or commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
