GENERAL PRACTICE NURSE (Full-Time – 4 Days per Week)

Beaumaris Family Practice

Beaumaris Family Practice is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our friendly team at our busy, privately owned medical centre located north of the river.

Working alongside a team of six experienced nurses, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality clinical care to our patients while providing support to our GPs.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Wound management

• ECGs and spirometry

• Ear syringing

• Immunisations and vaccinations

• Patient triage

• Assisting doctors with minor procedures

• Chronic disease management and acute care

• Health assessments

• Iron infusions

• Sterilising instruments and maintaining clinical cleanliness

• Cold chain management

• Stock control and ordering

• Patient recalls and reminder systems

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

• Previous experience in general practice nursing.

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Flexibility to provide leave cover for sick leave and annual leave when required.

• Availability to work Saturday mornings on a rotating roster.
