Responsibilities:

• Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary

• Mix and apply paint or other coatings to achieve the desired finish

• Use spray guns, brushes, or rollers to apply paint and coatings

• Ensure that surfaces are smooth and free of defects before and after painting

• Follow safety protocols to protect yourself and others from harm

• Maintain equipment, including cleaning and calibrating spray guns

• Meet productivity and quality standards

• Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Spray Painter

• Minimum 1-2 years of automotive spray painting experience is required

• Strong knowledge of automotive paint application techniques and materials

• Ability to color match and blend paint to ensure a seamless finish

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an automotive environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Valid Australian work visa or citizenship is required

• Automotive labourer positions require 1-2 years of experience in paint preparation and assisting technicians
