Join our growing team at Arcue, a leading manufacturer and installer of high-quality aluminium doors, windows and skylights for architecturally designed homes.
We’re currently seeking a skilled and experienced Aluminium Welder to join our production team and work closely under the guidance of our Production Manager.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with at least 3 years’ experience welding and manufacturing aluminium window and door systems, ideally within a premium residential or architectural environment. You’ll be working on bespoke, high-end projects where precision, consistency and attention to detail are essential.
If you take pride in your welding, have a strong eye for detail and enjoy producing high-quality work from start to finish — we’d love to hear from you.
Key RequirementsMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience welding aluminium window and door systems, preferably for premium residential or architectural projects.
Strong experience with MIG/TIG welding of aluminium and the ability to produce clean, consistent welds.
Strong understanding of aluminium fabrication, welding techniques, materials and finishing requirements.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical plans.
High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-end finished products.
Ability to identify and resolve fabrication and welding issues efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving, time management and decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously on the workshop floor.
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and take direction from the Production Manager.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment where priorities can shift and everyone contributes as needed.
Strong commitment to WHS, quality and continuous improvement.
Current and valid driver’s licence.
Positive attitude, reliable work ethic and willingness to learn and contribute.
As an Aluminium Window & Door Welder at Arcue, you will:
Weld aluminium window, door and associated architectural components to detailed shop drawings and specifications.
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Produce high-quality, accurate and consistent aluminium welds with a strong focus on appearance and structural integrity.
Measure, prepare, fit and position components prior to welding.
Interpret shop drawings and ensure finished work meets project specifications and required tolerances.
Inspect your own work throughout the welding and assembly process to ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.
Identify defects, discrepancies or fabrication issues and work with the Production Manager to resolve them.
Assist with cutting, preparation, assembly and other workshop tasks where required.
Maintain welding equipment, tools and work areas in clean and safe working condition.
Assist with packing, loading and organising completed products for delivery and installation.
Follow WHS procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture.
Occasionally assist with site deliveries or installations if required.
Be part of a tight, motivated team working on architecturally designed, high-end residential projects.
Competitive salary, with opportunities for career growth.
Join a growing company with an expanding industry presence, where you can help shape how we work and evolve.
Work hands-on with bespoke aluminium products, crafted with precision and pride.
A supportive, respectful and collaborative work culture where your craftsmanship and skills are genuinely valued.
