Genus Infrastructure (NSW), in partnership with Acciona, is delivering 237 km of new 500 kV transmission lines between Bannaby and Wondalga as part of a $1.4 billion joint venture. This work strengthens the grid, supports Snowy 2.0, and unlocks renewable energy across NSW.
With construction underway and completion expected between 2027-2028, this project will create 1,600 jobs, invest $2 million into local communities, and leave a lasting legacy for the state.

THE OPPORTUNITY: TRANSMISSION LINESPEOPLE
We're building a high‑performing Transmission Lines team for HumeLink East — and we're looking for skilled, safety‑driven Lineworkers who want stable work, major‑project experience, and the chance to contribute to critical national infrastructure.
In this role, you will:

• Construct and maintain high‑voltage transmission assets
• Work to Genus and client standards, procedures, and safety protocols
• Participate in hazard identification, incident reporting, and safe‑work practices
• Support both routine and emergency response activities
• Contribute to a strong, positive, safety‑first team culture

This is hands‑on, meaningful work that keeps the lights on for millions of Australians.
  
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
We're seeking experienced Transmission Lineworkers with:

• UET30521 Certificate III in ESI - Transmission Overhead
• High Risk Work Licence (WP)
• Advanced & Intermediate Rigging
• EWP & Tower Rescue competency
• MR licence (HR preferred or willingness to upgrade)
• Proven experience on transmission networks
• Strong teamwork, communication, and safety focus
• Good understanding of PSSR / CPR-LVR

PRE‑EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Successful applicants will complete:

• Full pre‑employment medical
• Drug & alcohol screening
• National police clearance
