Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Kindergarten Director to lead the strategic and operational management of our Kindergarten.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of dedicated educators in delivering a high-quality, play-based program that promotes children's learning, wellbeing and development within a safe, inclusive and Christ-centred environment.

This is a permanent full-time position with remuneration commensurate with the successful candidate’s teaching experience and a position of added responsibility allowance. This position will commence from the beginning of 2027.

Your Role

• Lead the strategic and operational management of the Kindergarten.
• Deliver a high-quality early childhood program aligned with the EYLF, NQF and QKLG.
• Mentor and develop educators, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Lead quality improvement, compliance and Assessment and Rating preparation.
• Oversee Kindergarten operations, including staffing, budgeting and reporting.
• Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community.
• Participate in a spiritually vibrant culture aligned with the College's Christian mission and values.

About You

• Practicing Christian with the ability to actively support and promote the College's Mission, Vision and Values.
• Proven leadership experience in early childhood education.
• Strong knowledge and implementation of the EYLF, NQF, QKLG and Child Safe Standards.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Child Care Subsidy system and compliance.
• Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
• Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• A Master of Education (or another mission-aligned field) is desirable, but not essential.
• Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
• Current Working With Children Check (Exemption Card).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• National Child Safety Training certification through the GECCKO platform.
