About the roleWe are partnering with a leading retail client to find a talented .NET Engineer with strong experience designing, developing, and supporting cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions while working across modern Azure integration and platform services.You will work closely with solution architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional delivery teams to develop robust applications, modernise existing systems, and deliver cloud-first solutions using Microsoft's technology stack.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET CoreBuild and support cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure servicesDevelop and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM)Create serverless solutions using Azure Functions and workflow integrations using Logic AppsImplement messaging solutions using Azure Service BusWork with Azure Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts, and cloud-based data servicesImplement secure authentication using Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID)Support application monitoring and performance optimisation using Application Insights and Azure MonitorCollaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
What We're Looking For5+ years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET/.NET CoreStrong hands-on experience building solutions on Microsoft AzureExperience with Azure PaaS & IaaS services, including:Azure App ServicesAzure FunctionsAzure API Management (APIM)Azure Logic AppsAzure Service BusAzure Cosmos DBAzure Storage AccountsAzure Active Directory (Entra ID)Azure Key VaultApplication Insights & Azure MonitorExperience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and modern cloud engineering practices will be highly regarded.
