About the role

Our team is made up of highly skilled professionals who bring extensive expertise across all aspects of civil construction, site preparation, earthworks, and complex rail signalling systems.
We are looking for experienced Civil and Electrical Supervisors, S26 accredited, to lead our crews on rail construction projects out of Port Hedland. The successful candidates will run the day to day delivery of civil and electrical works on major infrastructure projects, holding the safety and quality standard on site and keeping the crew moving. FIFO ex Perth.
Rail experience is essential for these positions. We have separate requirements on both the civil and the electrical side, so please make clear in your application which discipline you supervise.
· Current Schedule 26 (S26) statutory supervisor qualification, including the WorkSafe legislation exam
· BHP Inducted
· Rail construction experience in either a civil or an electrical discipline
· Civil: earthworks, signalling, foundations, track support and site preparation
· Electrical: rail signalling, communications, cable hauling, terminations and testing
· Experience supervising crews working adjacent to live rail traffic
· HR Drivers Licence
· Cert IV in Work Health & Safety or equivalent
· Frontline leadership or supervisor training highly regarded
· Previous experience in rail environments, this is essential
· Proven ability to plan a shift, run a crew and hold the standard
· Confident interfacing with client representatives, protection officers and subcontractors
· Strong pre-start, JHA and Take 5 discipline, with accurate daily reporting
· Ability to read and work from drawings, ITPs and scopes of work
· A strong focus on safety and quality work standards
· Versatility, a positive attitude, and willingness to get the job done
· Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
· Australian work rights required for this position
· Rate $80 - $90 per hour (Negotiable)
· FIFO ex Perth with flights, accommodation and meals covered
