Automotive Technician/Diesel Mechanic/Auto Electrician

About the role

You'll be working on heavy diesel fleet vehicles with steady workflow and a team that backs each other. We're looking for a capable Automotive Technician who can diagnose properly, work safely, and get jobs done without constant supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, driveline, braking, steering, suspension and cooling systems

• Preventative maintenance and inspections for fleet customers

• Fault finding using scan tools and hands-on testing

• Complete job cards, notes, and service documentation clearly

• Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organised

• Work with other technicians to hit deadlines and keep quality high

About you

• Qualified automotive trade (Cert III trade certificate)

• Strong diagnostic ability (electrical knowledge is a plus)

• Fleet or heavy vehicle experience preferred (buses highly regarded)

• Current driver's licence (MR/HR ideal but not essential)

• Reliable, punctual, and takes ownership of outcomes

• Safety-first mindset and pride in workmanship

• 3rd/4th year apprentices or light vehicle trades looking to upskill welcome to apply
