Technaus Solar is looking for a high-calibre Operations Manager to take ownership of our Victorian post-sale operation and drive the performance, efficiency and accountability of our installation network.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced A-Grade Electrician who has progressed beyond the tools and wants genuine responsibility, authority and earning potential.

You may already be an Operations Manager, Installation Manager, Electrical Supervisor, Leading Hand or senior electrician ready for the next step.

What matters is that you understand how solar and electrical installations should run, can manage people, solve problems quickly and are prepared to take ownership of results.

This is not a coordinator or administration role.

You will be the key operational link between sales, customers, installers and management, ensuring every job moves from sale to installation efficiently, professionally and profitably.

And importantly, your earning potential will be directly linked to the results you deliver.

You will take responsibility for the daily operational performance of Technaus' Victorian installation operation.

This includes:

• Taking ownership of the entire post-sale process

• Managing and coordinating our Eastern State installation network

• Directly managing installers, electricians and contractors

• Ensuring jobs are scheduled, progressing and completed on time

• Driving installation capacity and productivity

• Identifying bottlenecks and fixing them before they become customer problems

• Managing installation quality, compliance and workmanship standards

• Holding installers and operational teams accountable for performance

• Resolving operational and customer escalations quickly

• Working closely with sales to ensure sold jobs are operationally viable

• Managing communication between customers, installers and internal teams

• Monitoring installation performance, productivity and completion rates

• Improving scheduling, workflow and operational processes

• Identifying operational risks and implementing practical solutions

• Providing management with clear visibility of operational performance

• Helping build and strengthen our installer network as the business grows

• Taking ownership when something goes wrong and making sure it gets resolved

You need to be someone who can walk into a problem, understand what is happening and fix it.

You will be expected to make decisions, manage people, challenge poor performance and continuously improve the way the operation runs.

We are looking for someone who naturally thinks:

What is the problem? Why is it happening? How do we fix it? How do we stop it happening again?

The right person will be:

• An A-Grade Electrician – ESSENTIAL

• Holder of a Full Australian Driver's Licence – ESSENTIAL

• Experienced within the solar, battery and electrical industry

• Experienced managing installers, electricians, contractors or operational teams

• Technically strong enough to understand installation issues and challenge poor workmanship

• Commercially minded and results-driven

• Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities

• Confident making decisions without needing constant direction

• A strong communicator who can deal confidently with customers, installers, sales teams and senior management

• Comfortable having difficult conversations and holding people accountable

• A strong problem solver who doesn't wait to be told what to do

• Process-driven, but practical enough to think outside the box when required

• Someone who takes ownership and follows issues through to completion

You don't necessarily need to already hold the title of Operations Manager.

If you are an experienced A-Grade Electrician, Electrical Supervisor, Leading Hand or Installation Manager who understands the solar industry and knows you are capable of running a larger operation, we want to hear from you.

This role is suited to someone who wants to move beyond simply completing installations and start managing the people, systems and performance behind them.

Technaus Solar is an established Australian solar and battery business with ambitious plans for continued growth.

We want someone who can take control of the Victorian operational function, build accountability, improve systems and help us scale without compromising installation quality or customer experience.

This is not a role where your earning potential is limited to a fixed salary.

In addition to your base salary, you will have the opportunity to earn up to $100,000 per annum in performance incentives, giving you a total earning potential of up to $200,000 per annum.

The incentive structure will be based on clear and measurable operational outcomes, including areas such as:

• Installation volume and productivity

• Installation turnaround times

• Installation quality and compliance

• Reduction of operational delays and bottlenecks

• Customer outcomes

• Installer and contractor performance

• Operational efficiency

• Delivery against agreed performance targets
