National Maintenance Support Officer

About the Role 
As a National Maintenance Support Officer with Secom Technical Services, you’ll play an important role in supporting the smooth delivery of service and maintenance operations across Australia. 

Working closely with the National Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll provide administrative and process support across national workflows, helping ensure jobs progress efficiently from service delivery through to closure and invoicing. You’ll also assist with developing and maintaining SOPs, policies and documentation, respond to enquiries from technicians and managers, and support the implementation of consistent processes across each state. 

This is a newly created position due to growth, suited to someone who enjoys understanding how things work, improving processes and keeping the details organised. While predominantly an internal support role, there will also be opportunities to gain broader exposure to the business, including attending account meetings.

What You’ll Bring 

• Australian Citizenship with eligibility to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance 
• Current Driver’s Licence 
• Strong administration skills with confidence using Microsoft Excel, Word and PDF documents 
• An analytical and process-focused approach with strong attention to detail 
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with technicians and internal managers 
• The ability to understand and support processes from job closure through to invoicing 
• An adaptable approach and aptitude for learning new systems and technical processes 
• Ideally, experience within a commercial, service or trade-based environment 
• A genuine desire to learn, develop and potentially progress into other areas of the business 

Nice to Have 

• Previous experience in a service, maintenance, trade or technical environment  
• Exposure to job management, service coordination or maintenance workflows  
• Experience supporting job closure, invoicing or similar administrative processes  
• Experience preparing or maintaining SOPs, procedures and internal documentation  
• Exposure to working across multiple teams, branches or locations
