Inspector (AICIP / API)

SRG Global is seeking experienced AICIP / API Inspectors on a casual basis to support work for key client operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be part of a team delivering in-service inspection support during shutdowns, outages, and short-term maintenance projects. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-service inspections of pressure equipment including pressure vessels, storage tanks, and associated systems in accordance with relevant codes and client specifications Prepare detailed inspection work scopes, including coordinating NDT requirements and reviewing equipment history Analyse findings and produce accurate, compliant inspection reports Support clients with statutory compliance requirements and maintain accurate inspection databases Work collaboratively with client stakeholders, NDT teams, and site personnel during shutdown activities Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards in high-risk environments Ideal Qualifications & Experience AICIP certification (preferred) or API 510 & API 570 (minimum required) API 653 certification (highly desirable) Demonstrated experience in oil & gas, refinery, or heavy process plant environments (essential) Exposure to shutdowns, outages, or short-term site-based inspection work NDT certification (AINDT or equivalent) – desirable Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, codes, and standards for in-service inspection of pressure equipment Experience working in mining, industrial, or process plant environments Willingness to travel and mobilise for shutdown assignments About UsSRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
