IT Support Technician, Level 1 - Unified IT

About the Position

One of our operating companies, Unified IT, is looking for an IT Support Technician, Level 1 to join their growing Sydney team.

This is a great opportunity for a Level 1 IT professional who wants to grow their technical and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 technical support across Microsoft 365 and customer environments.
• Manage and prioritise tickets in line with SLAs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating where required.
• Support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune and Conditional Access.
• Monitor and respond to MDR/EDR security alerts.
• Maintain clear ticket and knowledge-base documentation.
• Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused support experience.
• Provide onsite support to key Sydney customers when required.
• Assist with technical input at prospective customer meetings.

Skills Required

• Around 2 years’ experience in an MSP environment.
• Strong Microsoft 365 foundational knowledge.
• Experience with SharePoint, Intune and Conditional Access.
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices, including MDR/EDR, DNS security and email filtering.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confident and personable when dealing directly with customers.
• A security-first mindset and strong attention to detail.
• A desire to learn and progress your career.

Desirable:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
