Senior Consultant - Microsoft Azure Fabric Data & Analytics A leading Data & Analytics Professional Services consultancy is looking for two Microsoft Fabric Data & Analytics Consultants for their practice. The Fabric engineers must come from a data engineering background NOT just a Power BI visualisation background.

The role
This role is the epitome of the archetypal IT business consultant where you will apply your proven Microsoft Azure Fabric Data & Analytics development expertise within top ASX 500 style organisations. You will be working exclusively on high level projects within the Sydney market and will utilise the Microsoft Azure Fabric Services technologies, Synapse, OneLake, Data Factory and Power BI. You will become a key member of the team assisting with the growth of the Microsoft Practice.
The Skills Needed
The ideal candidate for this true technical consulting role will have some or all of the following experience:
Microsoft Fabric experience ideally Certified2-3 Fabric projects under your beltMicrosoft Platform knowledge of Azure Fabric, Azure Data Services, the Microsoft Data cloud stack and on prem Microsoft BI technologiesPower BI experienceDatabricks and Azure Data Factory experience is a huge advantageSynapse Analytics experience is a huge advantageData modelling experienceDBT, Snowflake, AWS, GCP experience all valuableIdeally previous Professional services experience with niche Data consultanciesPrevious on prem SSIS, SSAS (tabular and modular) and SSRS, Power BI experienceHigh level client liaison skillsDocumentation (business focused, technology focused and project focused)
