Tax Consultant

About the role

Tax Solutions Brisbane is looking for an experienced Tax Consultant to join the team in Morningside. This is a casual position offering approximately 10–40 hours per week, with an immediate start available. You will work with practical Australian taxation matters, confident working with tax returns and able to work independently while still being part of a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing Individual Tax Returns

• Preparing Business Tax Returns

• Working with HandiTax

• Assisting with day-to-day taxation matters

• Communicating with the team to ensure accurate and timely completion of client work

About you

• A minimum of 1 year of Australian taxation experience

• Practical experience using HandiTax

• Basic knowledge of Xero

• Experience preparing Individual and Business Tax Returns

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and organisational skills

• The ability to work independently when required, while being comfortable asking questions and working collaboratively with the team
