Aussiephil Engineering Welding & Fabrication Pty Ltd Aussiephil Engineering Welding & Fabrication Pty Ltd is a Perth-based provider of high-quality welding and fabrication services to industrial, commercial and construction clients across Western Australia. We are currently recruiting for the following positions. Position 1: Metal Fabricator
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to fabricate, assemble and install structural steel and metal components for industrial and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Mark out, cut, shape, and fabricate metal components using hand tools and machinery.
Assemble and weld fabricated components to specification. Install fabricated structures on site as required. Carry out quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures. Qualifications & Experience: Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or equivalent. Minimum 1–2 years' experience in structural steel and general fabrication.
Position 2: Pressure Welder We are seeking a qualified Pressure Welder to weld pressure vessels, piping, and equipment in accordance with Australian pressure welding standards. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedure specifications (WPS) and relevant codes.
Perform welding on pressure equipment using approved procedures. Carry out weld preparation, positioning and post-weld inspection. Maintain current pressure welding qualifications/tickets as required.
Carry out quality checks to ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards. Follow all workplace health and safety procedures. Qualifications & Experience: Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) plus a current pressure welding qualification/licence.
Minimum 1–2 years' pressure welding experience. Position 3: Welder (First Class) We are seeking an experienced First Class Welder to perform high-quality welding and fabrication work in accordance with technical drawings and Australian industry standards.
Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Mark out, cut, shape, and assemble metal components using hand tools and machinery. Perform MIG, TIG and Stick welding to a high standard.
Fabricate structural steel and custom metal components. Repair and maintain metal structures and equipment. Carry out quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures. Qualifications & Experience: Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or equivalent. Minimum 1–2 years' relevant industry experience.
