HR Relief Driver

Our client is a well-established and respected supplier of premium smallgoods, servicing supermarkets, independent retailers, cafés, restaurants and food service customers. They are seeking a reliable and adaptable Relief Driver to join their team. This role is designed to provide operational support by covering for drivers during periods of leave, illness, or increased workload.

As a Relief Driver, you'll gain experience across multiple areas of their operation, working alongside their team to ensure deliveries and warehouse functions continue to run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Cover driving and warehouse duties when team members are on leave or absent.

• Ride as a jockey with experienced drivers to learn delivery routes, procedures, and operational requirements.

• Complete delivery runs as required across various routes.

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.

• Learn and perform a variety of operational roles to support the business as needed.

• Travel to other depots (including Bendigo & Gippsland) when required to provide operational support.

What We're Looking For

• Valid Heavy Rigid Driver License.

• Valid Forklift License [not key essential].

• The ability to stay overnight if needed [key essential].

• Flexible and willing to work across different roles and locations.

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling, including loading and unloading.

• Strong work ethic with a positive, team-focused attitude.

• Ability to adapt quickly and work independently when required.

• Good communication and time management skills.
