SIRRAS is expanding its security and intelligence vetting capability to support a highly regarded intelligence client. We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our Canberra team as Vetting Analysts.

The Opportunity

This role combines investigative interviewing, risk assessment, intelligence-informed analysis and security decision support. Analysts assess a broad range of information to identify security risks and provide evidence-based recommendations within a structured policy framework.

As a Vetting Analyst, you will be working within a highly trusted environment, where your actions contribute to decisions that support Australia's most critical national security missions. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Conduct complex personnel security assessments.

• Analyse sensitive personal, professional and financial information.

• Interview applicants and referees.

• Identify and assess potential security risks.

• Apply government policy and security standards.

• Prepare clear, evidence-based assessment reports.

• Build rapport while maintaining objectivity and professional judgement.

• Sponsored TS-PA Security Clearances

• Permanent, full-time employment or fixed term employment, where appropriate.

• Remuneration package between $145,000.00 - $165,000.00.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered, you must:

• Be an Australian Citizen.

• Be willing and able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET – Privileged (TS-PA) security clearance.

• Demonstrate the integrity, judgement and personal suitability expected of TS-PA clearance holders.

• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Please note: Successful applicants will be sponsored for a TS-PA clearance, which is essential prior to commencement. As this process can take several months in some circumstances, SIRRAS will explain the onboarding and employment arrangements during the recruitment period.
