Teacher - Mathematics & Engineering

The Opportunity 

Grace Lutheran College, Rothwell invites applicants who will contribute to our Christian ethos to teach in our Mathematics & Engineering subject areas. With the completion next year of our purpose built, multi-storey STEM building, we are looking for a talented and passionate teacher with ability to teach Maths and Engineering subjects. We are looking for someone committed to improving our student learning and to providing specialist skills and abilities in this subject area.

Anticipated Commencement Date:  Term 1, 2027

About You 

This position would suit someone with a commitment to the ethos, Christian values and teachings of the College. The suitable candidate will also have: 

• Capacity to teach predominantly Mathematics 

• Capacity to teach Engineering will be an advantage

• Willingness to assist with student holistic care (GEL – Grow, Empower, Learn), Pastoral Care lessons, Chapel supervision, Inter-School sporting teams or recreational activities

• Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary curriculum issues in education

• Awareness of National curriculum imperatives and QCAA senior syllabus
