Float Operator

Downer has an opportunity for a Float Operator to join our Asphalt division, based at our Somerton depot. Offering a competitive hourly rate plus night shift and weekend allowances, this full-time permanent role will see you play a key part in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of asphalt laying equipment to and from sites across the Melbourne metropolitan area.At Downer we plan, create and sustain. About You:
Current HC Driver LicencePlant and equipment moving experience is highly regarded.Current General Construction Induction (White Card).Knowledge and understanding of Chain of Responsibiilty (CoR).Strong familiarity with the Melbourne metropolitan area.Ability to work on a rotating shift roster.Demonstrated initiative with the ability to meet deadlines.A strong team player, capable of working efficiently with others.A committment to upholding Zero Harm culture at all times.
