About us BROWNS English Language School has been welcoming international students to Australia for over twenty years. Our Melbourne campus sits at the heart of the city and is the newest in our network, with students from more than forty countries learning, living, and finding their feet in a new place.  The role Our Melbourne Campus Manager looks after the people, the operations, and the commercial health of the campus. You will be the person students come to when they need something sorted, the person staff look to for direction, and the person we rely on to keep Melbourne running as a thriving, financially sound school.

It is a broad role. One morning you might be reviewing enrolment data and forecasting study weeks, the next you are sitting with a teacher working through a curriculum question, or meeting an agent partner over coffee. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys that variety.

 What you'll be doing

• Leading the day to day running of the Melbourne campus, across academic, and student services

• Building strong relationships with students, staff, agents, and institutional partners

• Working alongside the Academic Management Team to maintain teaching quality and develop our programmes

• Ensuring we stay on the right side of ELICOS, VET, and ESOS obligations

• Coaching and developing staff, and helping shape a workplace people want to be part of

• Spotting opportunities to grow, improve, and do things better

What we're hoping you bring

• A track record in education leadership, ideally in ELICOS or a closely related sector in Australia

• Confidence with the commercial side of running a school, including budgets, reporting, and forecasting

• A strong grasp of compliance and accreditation in the Australian international education space

• CELTA or equivalent (DELTA welcomed), with a degree in education, TESOL, business, or a related field. A Master's is a plus but not essential

• Genuine warmth with people, balanced by the ability to make firm calls when they are needed

• A current Working with Children Check and full working rights in Australia
