Warehouse Storeperson / Forklift Operator

Our business is looking for a Warehouse Person / Forklift Operator to jump in with our current team ,the role will also include deliveries / pickup of materials to construction sites.

Small Family Construction business based in Kings Park.

You will be an integral part of the team and sole person looking after warehouse duties and must be able to work independently and use own initiative as well as work as part of a team.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Able to operate a Forklift (license required)

• Pick & packing of goods onto a pallet

• Loading customer orders onto vehicles/trucks

• General warehouse duties (cleaning, organising)

• Receiving/ unloading deliveries

• Labelling and storing goods accurately

• Use of shrink wrap to manually wrap palletised goods

• Follow procedures and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly

• Delivering and picking up materials on site

• Preparing multiple orders to be ready for deliveries

• Tracking of equipment in and out of warehouse

• End of Month Stock Counts

Requirements

• Forklift License and experience

• Physically able of loading heavy materials up to 25kg

• Current HR license desirable

• Must speak English

• Good communication

• Experience driving small truck desirable but not necessary

Full time Position - Salary depending on experience

Ideally we require an active person for this role due to the physical demands on a daily basis in a fast paced environment. 

General working hours Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm or 8am-4pm - may vary depending on urgency of jobs etc.
