About the role

Aluminium fabrication is seeking a skilled and experienced Boiler Maker to join our growing team in Arundel, Gold Coast Queensland. As a Boiler Maker, you will play a vital role in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality pontoons / gangways and related marine equipment. This is a casual/ full time position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with flexible hours.

What you'll be doing

• Operate a range of metalworking equipment such as welding machines, grinders, shears and presses to cut, shape, and join metal components

• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation

• Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and ensure the timely delivery of custom-built orders

• Adhere to all relevant safety standards and environmental regulations throughout the fabrication process

What we're looking for

• Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience as a Boiler Maker

• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Proficient in the use of welding, cutting, and other metalworking equipment

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets

• Assist in product on site installation

• Assist in the pour of some concrete (1hr p/w)
