• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting cybersecurity operations.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Work with cloud platforms to deploy, maintain, and enhance secure applications and services.
• Support data warehousing initiatives, including ETL processes, data integration, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and development teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and cloud-related issues.
• Follow secure coding standards and software development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience working with Oracle SQL or similar relational databases.
• Understanding of cloud computing platforms and cloud-based application deployment.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration.
• Basic to intermediate Java programming skills.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure software development practices.
• Exposure to Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, web services, or microservices architecture.
• Experience with scripting languages is an advantage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, databases, or cybersecurity are a plus.
