We're looking for experienced RNs to join our Hospital in the Home team across Melbourne's Metropolitan regions— and with both Casual and PPT positions available, if you've been thinking about making the move, this is worth reading.
  
What the role actually looks like
· Working alongside Melbourne's major public and private hospitals to support patients transitioning home with early discharge programs
· Delivering hospital substitution, post-acute care and ambulatory infusion services in the community
· Managing your own caseload across a defined geographical region — with the autonomy to plan your day and the backing of a Senior Clinical Lead when you need it
· Applying a genuinely broad clinical skill set: complex wound care, IV infusion, PICC and PORT management, venepuncture, urinary catheterisation, respiratory assessment and comprehensive care planning
  
You're the right person if...
· You're a Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years recent acute hospital experience and a consolidated clinical skill set
· You're confident working autonomously — you don't need someone looking over your shoulder to do your best work
· Your IV cannulation skills are strong and you're comfortable with the full scope of community nursing clinical practice
· You're a clear communicator and a natural patient advocate — the kind of nurse patients remember
· You hold a current driver's licence, have access to your own reliable insured vehicle, and are willing to obtain a National Police Clearance
