Founded by three mates in 2013, Varsity has grown from your favourite student bar in to an entertainment hub! Serving up tasty burgers, saucy wings and cold beers across 9 venues in Perth, we've now levelled up in to the arcade and bowling sphere!

What will you do?

Master food preparation, cooking and presentation to Varsity quality standards.Follow recipes and kitchen guides. Ensure correct portion control.Ensure meals are served in a timely manner.Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen, that adheres to all food preparation and cleanliness guidelines. Also ensuring staff are following the kitchen cleaning systems.Participate in all technical aspects of cooking including but not limited to grilling, deep frying, and cooking meat and poultry.Work across all stations in the kitchen including prep, fry, grill, pizza and salad stations.Ensure dietary requirements are catered for in a safe manner.Support with stock rotation, making sure our ingredients are as fresh as can be for our guests.Deliver food and service to Varsity standards. Support the training of the kitchen team.Bring a passion for food and a positive attitude to every shift.

What Will You Bring?

Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferredInfectious enthusiasm and positivity.A can-do attitude.A love of good food and good times.Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential.
