Senior JavaScript / React Developer (HubSpot)

Role Overview

The company is looking for a Senior JavaScript / React Developer to join the team in a remote capacity. This is a hands-on development role centred on strong JavaScript and React fundamentals, HubSpot-specific experience is valued but secondary to core coding ability. The right candidate builds and reviews code with genuine technical depth, can identify what is wrong in code they did not write, and is straightforward about the limits of their own knowledge. You will design and build Content Hub modules, themes, and templates from Figma files and Asana briefs, working alongside a backend developer to deliver frontend functionality for eCommerce, checkout flows, and membership self-service within the HubSpot ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Development & BuildDevelop Content Hub modules, themes, and templates working from Figma design files and development notes in Asana.Build dynamic pages powered by HubDB tables, ensuring content is accurately structured and rendered.Collaborate with the backend developer to implement frontend functionality for eCommerce, checkout flows, and membership self-service features.Apply responsive design principles and SEO best practices across all development work.Code Review & QualityReview AI-generated and team-produced code critically, identify errors, logic issues, and gaps before anything ships.QA your own development output to a high standard before handoff.Document work accurately and report progress across multiple concurrent projects.Continuous ImprovementStay current with evolving HubSpot platform capabilities, React patterns, and frontend best practices.Contribute to improving development efficiency and code quality standards within the team.Accurately track time across projects and flag risks or blockers early.
Requirements

MUST HAVES:

6+ years of experience working in a front-end web development role3+ years experience customising and implementing websites and functionality in HubSpot Content HubReact and TypeScript experienceCurrent HubSpot Content Hub Developer certificationAdvanced experience with HubSpot Themes, Templates, Modules, and HubDB, hublUnderstanding of HubSpot standard object structure, associations, fields, and custom objectsExperience with mobile development, including responsive design, content management, and SEO best practicesExperience working in an agency environment with cross-functional teams
