Ducker Physio – Salisbury and Magill

The opportunity

Ducker Physio is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic full-time Physiotherapist to join our experienced allied health team.

Established for over 34 years, Ducker Physio operates busy private practices in Salisbury and Magill. We also provide comprehensive daily physiotherapy services to all patients at Calvary Central Districts Hospital in Elizabeth Vale.

This role offers the opportunity to work across both private practices more at Salisbury than Magill, treating a diverse caseload that includes musculoskeletal, neurological, rehabilitation and respiratory conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients with a broad range of physiotherapy needs

• Develop and implement personalised, evidence-based treatment plans

• Help patients achieve their rehabilitation, functional and lifestyle goals

• Conduct patient-specific individual and small-group gym programs

• Collaborate with medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic clinical records

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of clinical practices and protocols

• Enthusiasm for continuing self-driven professional development and daily learning from 7 other experienced physiotherapist with varied caseloads and conditions.

What we’re looking for

The successful applicant will have:

• A recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy

• Current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

• Previous physiotherapy experience, ideally in private practice or a similar clinical environment

• The skills and willingness to conduct patient-specific small-group gym classes

• Strong clinical reasoning, assessment and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to build positive relationships with patients, colleagues and other healthcare professionals

• A commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care

• Enthusiasm for ongoing, self-directed professional development and daily interest learning from on-site experienced physiotherapists.
