Financial Planning Analyst

We’re excited to be on the lookout for a Financial Planning Analyst to join our team. In this role you’ll provide ongoing support to Sony management with quality data & analysis, in order to help them make better-informed, accurate and data-driven strategic business decisions.

About the role: 

• Focus on financial modelling and analysis by working with various departments in the organization.

• Develop an on-going user self-service framework that effectively manages source data currently coming from a variety of systems.

• Manage monthly forecast, yearly budget cycle by clearly communicating requirements and timeline.

• Work closely with IT team to develop and maintain necessary systems and reporting tools.

• Work continuously on quality assurance and maintenance of Financial & operational data.

• Identify and learn new/existing data & reporting technologies in the market to apply to the business where applicable.

• Be a Business Super User various system.

About you:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably with a major in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics

• Advanced Excel skills

• Proficiency in ERP and data warehouse systems.

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, while maintaining a flexible approach to work and a passion for learning & growth

• High attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability and initiative.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of financial accounting and reconciliation processes

• Prior financial analysis experience in CE, FMCG, or Retail/Wholesale preferred but not essential
