Junior Basketball Academy (JBA) is seeking enthusiastic Learn to Play Basketball Instructors to join our growing coaching team across Sydney.

Whether you're a current coach, university student, athlete, teacher, sport enthusiast, or someone who simply loves helping children learn and grow, we'd love to hear from you.

👟 What You'll Do

• Deliver engaging, beginner-focused basketball sessions
• Teach fundamental skills including dribbling, passing, shooting and teamwork
• Create a safe, positive and inclusive environment
• Inspire confidence and participation in young players
• Support the setup and pack down of sessions
• Be a positive ambassador for JBA and The Y NSW

✅ We're Looking For People Who

• Enjoy working with children and young people
• Bring energy, enthusiasm and positivity to every session
• Have basketball playing or coaching experience (desirable, not essential)
• Are reliable, approachable and keen to develop their coaching skills
• Share our commitment to creating safe and inclusive environments for children

🎓 Essential Requirements

• Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
• First Aid & CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Passion for helping young people learn and thrive through sport
