HR / HC Driver - Barossa, Riverland, Mid North

About the role

CPM Logistics is seeking a HR / HC Driver to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Pooraka, SA 5095, you will service the Barossa, Riverland, and Mid North regions, providing reliable and professional driving services. This role is critical to ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly and our customers receive exceptional service delivery across these key areas.

What you'll be doing

• Operating HR and HC category vehicles safely and efficiently across the Barossa, Riverland, and Mid North regions

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting any mechanical issues

• Maintaining accurate logbooks and delivery documentation in accordance with legal requirements

• Ensuring cargo is loaded, secured and transported safely to designated destinations

• Adhering to all road safety regulations, speed limits and fatigue management legislation

• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays

• Maintaining a professional approach to customer interactions and service delivery

• Performing routine vehicle maintenance and cleanliness checks

What we're looking for

• Valid HR or HC driver's licence with a clean driving record

• Current medical fitness certificate as required for heavy vehicle operation

• Demonstrated experience driving HR / HC category vehicles

• Knowledge of fatigue management legislation and road transport regulations

• Excellent safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Reliability and professional attitude towards work commitments

• Familiarity with the Barossa, Riverland, and Mid North regions is advantageous
