About the Opportunity:

Looking for a Monday-to-Friday role in Rydalmere? We are seeking experienced Electronic Technicians to join an established 6-person team maintaining critical rail control systems.

Duties:

• Diagnose, test, and repair train control panels and electrical components down to board level.

• Read, trace, and troubleshoot complex electrical schematics to locate broken circuits fast.

• Perform precision bench soldering and component swap-outs on heavy industrial circuit boards.

• Conduct full system testing to verify all bench repairs pass strict operation checks.

• Maintain strict workshop safety protocols, standard procedures, and high quality standards.

Skills & Experience:

• Cert IV in Electronics and Communications or a relevant trade qualification (is preferred)

• Solid practical experience in component-level electronic diagnostics, fault finding and bench repairs.

• Ability to read complex electronic schematics and trace faults directly to board components.

• A reliable, practical, safety-first attitude on the workshop floor.

• Prior background in rail, locomotive systems, or heavy industrial control panels preferred.
