School Canteen Assistant (Hybrid role)

We are looking to employ experienced, efficient and enthusiastic school canteen and catering assistant to join our team and assist in our school canteens in a hybrid role. This position will cover a range of Metro Canteen locations, covering shifts as required. While mostly based in the Northern suburbs, travel will be required. 

Applicant must have experience in food preparation and cooking onsite, well organized in a fast paced environment, work well under pressure, enjoy working with children and preparing and serving freshly prepared food, have excellent customer service, Eftpos and cash handling skills.

The successful applicant will be reporting to the general manager and will assist in the day to day running and operation of our canteens.

Monday - Friday (hours will vary, but will fall between 8.30am - 2.00pm, approx. 15 hours a week on average)

All school holidays off.

This position requires a mandatory DCSI (working with children) clearance. (WWCC)
