MR Driver - Casual

About the role

Join the John West Logistics team as a permanent casual MR Driver based in Banyo, QLD. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating medium rigid vehicles to deliver goods across the greater Brisbane area. With a focus on customer service and attention to detail, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our road transport logistics.

What you'll be doing

1. Operate medium rigid vehicles to transport goods to various customer locations

2. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies to ensure the safe delivery of goods

3. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records of vehicle usage and performance

4. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members

5. Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required

6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics operations

What we're looking for

1. Current MR driver's licence and demonstrated experience operating medium rigid vehicles

2. Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety and compliance

3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

4. Strong customer service skills

5. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
