• Recording, preparing, sorting, classifying and filing business information, documents and records.
• Sorting, opening, distributing and sending mail, emails and other routine correspondence.
• Photocopying, scanning, printing and filing documents as required.
• Preparing routine reports, letters, forms, spreadsheets and other basic administrative documents.
• Recording the issue, return and movement of office equipment, supplies, uniforms and other workplace items issued to staff.
• Receiving and recording letters, telephone messages, emails and general enquiries.
• Entering and transcribing information into computer systems, spreadsheets, registers and electronic records.
• Proofreading and correcting routine documents, forms, notices, menus, correspondence and internal records.
• Maintaining filing systems, databases, supplier files, customer records, staff records and other office records.
• Assisting with routine supplier and business documentation, including delivery dockets, order records and invoice filing.
• Providing customers, suppliers, staff and visitors with basic information about business services or procedures where required.
• Performing receptionist-style duties when required, including answering calls, greeting visitors and directing enquiries.
• Assisting managers, supervisors and staff with general clerical and administrative support.
• Maintaining confidentiality of business, customer, supplier and staff information.
• Following workplace procedures for document control, record keeping, privacy and office administration.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of relevant clerical, administrative, receptionist, data entry or office support experience is preferred.
• Good computer skills, including email, word processing, spreadsheets and electronic records.
• Ability to prepare routine reports, letters, forms and administrative documents.
• Good communication skills and professional phone manner.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, organised and able to follow office procedures.
• Ability to work full-time hours.
• Previous experience in hospitality, food service, takeaway, restaurant, retail or small business administration will be highly regarded.
