Salary 65k – 75k (commensurate on experience)

About the Role

Working with a highly motivated & driven sales team and reporting to an experianced Manager with a proven track record for suscess, the right candidate will ideally have sales experience and / or customer service experience in a retail environment, preferably the home improvement, interior decorating or in the building products industry however this is not essential as full product training will be provided. The majority of your work will be instore working with consumers and / or trade customers in store.

You will need to have a good understanding of computers and embrace technology. You will be an attention to detail person. You will be a team player and realise that it takes a team to provide exceptional customer service to achieve sales targets – and that is what sets us apart. You will be well presented and have a good knowledge of the local area to assist in understanding our local community and their needs.

The right candidate will flourish if they are pro-active and professional. You will be a key part of the Amber team as we strive to deliver best in class service and expert advice

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working one-on-one with retail and trade clients to help them bring the their design needs to life

• Developing individual relationships with clients and generating sales opportunities

• Follow up communications via email and phone, where necessary

• Ensuring administration duties related to your sales are completed in a timely and effective manner

• Availability to work 5 days per week – including one weekend day

Skills and experience

• Retail sales experience

• Team player with a can-do attitude

• Clear communication (both written and verbal) and exceptional presentation skills
