General Practitioner | Southport Medical & Dental | Gold Coast

I’m currently working with Southport Medical & Dental to find a GP interested in joining the practice during a continued stage of its growth.

Southport Medical & Dental is a very well-established medical centre in the heart of the Gold Coast, providing a broad range of healthcare services to the local community, with urgent care also available on site.

Having visited the practice, what stood out to me was the established patient base and genuine demand for GP appointments, with wait times to see some GPs creating an opportunity for another GP to establish themselves within the practice. I also liked the combination of an experienced team, strong clinical support and the ability for the right doctor to develop their own areas of interest.

I think this opportunity could suit a GP looking for:

• The opportunity to establish yourself within a very established practice, with genuine patient demand and the ability to shape your patient base and clinical focus.

• Strong day-to-day support, including the Practice Manager, administration team and excellent nursing support, including a dedicated care plan nurse.

• The ability to develop your clinical interests or sub-specialise, with ForHealth able to support you in building the areas of medicine that are important to you.

There is also scope to discuss meaningful commencement support for the right GP. Rather than putting a standard offer in an advertisement, I’d prefer to understand your current practice, preferred hours, patient following and what would make a move worthwhile.
