KITCHEN HAND

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Kitchenhand to join our food production team for an immediate start. You'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across kitchen and food storage areas, as well as ensuring all machinery and equipment are properly cleaned and prepared. Our Kitchen Stewards take pride in their work, are self-motivated, and ensure all kitchen areas are consistently clean, organised, and well presented.

Key responsibilities

• General kitchens wash up, eg. dishes, floors, walls, benches, kitchen equipment, etc.

• Deep clean and organise spaces for fridge, freezer and storeroom as per food safety and hygiene standards.

• Maintain an organised kitchen space, where everything has a place and is easily accessible.

• Bin disposal, cleaning, and maintenance.

• Showing a commitment to our recycling program by separating recyclable, general and food waste.

• Assisting, when required, in other kitchen duties.

About you

• Experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen

• Knowledge of safe food handling practices and a current Food Hygiene Certificate

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure

• A team-focused attitude, with good communication and personal presentation

• The ability to follow instructions and manage multiple tasks efficiently
