About the role
Location: Melbourne, VIC
Salary: >$100,000
Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position
ID4ME PTY LTD We're looking for a Business Analyst who builds, not just advises. At iD4me, you'll own the hands-on work of connecting our data infrastructure to the tools our teams actually use - designing BI dashboards, integrating APIs, and turning raw data into decisions.
This is 80% execution, 20% collaboration. If you're energised by shipping working solutions rather than slide decks, keep reading. Key Responsibilities Build BI dashboards in Databricks that give teams real-time visibility into customer health, product usage, and revenue metrics Design and implement integrations between our data lake and HubSpot CRM via REST APIs Write production code in SQL and Python for data pipelines, transformations, and automated workflows Troubleshoot and optimise existing data flows when things break (because they will) Champion data quality and governance while continuously improving reporting processes and tools.
Partnering with business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and define data-driven solutions that deliver customer, commercial, and operational value Translating complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences. Working and improving the current Data warehouse architecture. iD4me's architecture is built on medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers, schema design, governance rules).
Cross-system identity resolution, A core part of the role is reconciling customer identity across three separate platforms (Auth0, Stripe, HubSpot) into a single unified data model. Automated reporting pipelines, Preparing Dashboards for different stakeholders and maintain the backend pipelines that deliver business-critical metrics on defined cadences across the business. "Reporting processes".
End-to-end data product ownership, From translating a business question into a specification, through building, testing, and iterating as requirements evolve. You'll work directly with data from day one. No months of onboarding before you touch real systems.
Required Skills & Experience Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) — you've designed and built layered data warehouses. You can explain what sat in each layer, why, and what broke. Critical thinking under ambiguity — you can walk into a half-defined problem, identify what's actually being asked, and structure an approach before touching the keyboard SQL proficiency (complex joins, window functions, CTEs—not just SELECT *) Python for data manipulation and scripting (pandas, requests, basic automation) Significant hands-on experience with BI tools (Databricks preferred, or Looker/Tableau/Power BI with willingness to adapt) API integration experience—you've connected systems via REST APIs before Multi-source data integration — you've pulled from at least 2–3 platforms into a single warehouse Experience with machine learning Previous experience working in a SaaS business (start-up or scale up desirable) and an understanding of SaaS reporting.
Nice to Have HubSpot or CRM integration experience Cross-industry background (SaaS + proptech, or finance + retail — different data structures build better instincts) What We Offer: Flexible working hours with remote work options.
High autonomy with the ability to own problems end-to-end. A supportive and inclusive team culture that values continuous learning and growth. Direct influence on the quality and success of a growing SaaS product.
