About our service – Puckapunyal One Tree Defence Unit Puckapunyal is located within the Puckapunyal Military Area, near Seymour in regional Victoria. Our 86-place long day care service supports Defence families and the local community, creating a welcoming and connected environment for children, families and educators.
Our service has dedicated learning spaces across nursery, toddler and pre-kindergarten rooms, along with generous outdoor areas where children have plenty of space to explore, play and learn. With operating hours from 7am to 6pm, our team works together across the service to create a supportive environment where educators can build genuine relationships with the children and families in their care.
Working at Puckapunyal also offers something a little different from a typical metropolitan service. You’ll become part of a close-knit Defence community while enjoying the lifestyle of regional Victoria. Seymour is nearby, providing access to shops, cafés and everyday essentials, while Melbourne is still within reach when you want the city.
