Trade Assistant / Labourer, Trentham Energy

4 day week (Mon to Thu) | Full time, Casual, or Subcontractor

Trentham Energy is a quality first solar, battery and air conditioning outfit in the Macedon Ranges. We install gear we're proud of, do it right the first time, and look after customers long after the invoice. We're growing and need a switched on Trade Assistant/Labourer to support our installers on residential and commercial jobs.

The role (what you'll actually do)

• Site prep, unloading, and safe handling of solar panels, racking, batteries and air conditioning units

• Assemble racking, fit panels, label, and keep the site tidy and safe

• Assist with split system and multi head aircon installs: brackets, mounting, positioning indoor and outdoor units, core drilling, pipe chases and condensate drains

• Trenching and conduit runs, digging, backfilling and reinstatement

• Basic measuring and mark up

• Warehouse help: receive stock, pick jobs, load vans, occasional deliveries

• Be professional with customers, friendly, clear, helpful

• Follow WHS procedures and help the team finish clean and on time

Must haves

• Manual driver's licence and reliable transport

• White Card

• Working at Heights ticket

• Fit, reliable, on time, you don't ghost the crew or your alarm clock

• Can lift safely and work at heights

• Basic tool sense (tape, levels, ladders, not rocket science)

• Live within 50km of Trentham

Great to haves

• First Aid/CPR

• Any solar, HVAC or construction experience
