Gas Service Technician – Commercial Catering Equipment

We're looking for an experienced Gas Service Technician to join our field team servicing commercial kitchen equipment across Melbourne. You'll keep essential equipment running safely and efficiently, and represent PTL on-site with our clients.

• Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing commercial gas and electrical catering equipment

• Preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and downtime

• Fault finding across a wide range of kitchen equipment and major brands

• Clear, professional communication with customers on-site

• Completing job reports and documentation via our field service app

• VBA Gasfitting licence/registration — Type A appliance servicing (or equivalent)

• Restricted Electrical Licence (disconnect/reconnect)

• Proven experience servicing commercial catering / food equipment

• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability

• Current Australian driver's licence

• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

• Solid communication and customer service skills

• Experience across major brands of commercial kitchen equipment (e.g. combi ovens, speed ovens, dishwashers, fryers)

• Previous field service experience

• $100,000 – $115,000 + super — starting salary based on experience, with performance-based reviews and a clear path to the top of the range

• Fully maintained company vehicle
