CAD/CAM Dental Technician

Smile Art Lab is a boutique, full-service dental laboratory based in Crows Nest. We specialise in aesthetic and digital dentistry and work closely with dentists across Australia to produce high-quality restorations.

We are looking for an experienced CAD/CAM Dental Technician with strong Exocad skills to join our close-knit team.

Our brand-new laboratory is equipped with modern milling, printing and scanning technology. We offer a friendly, supportive and non-corporate working environment where team members have autonomy, contribute ideas and continue developing their skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

• CAD design using Exocad

• Digital Smile Design and cosmetic cases, including veneers and aesthetic crowns

• Designing crown and bridge restorations

• Designing implant restorations

• Assisting with CAM, 3D printing and scanning when required

• Working closely with the technical team and communicating clearly about cases

• Learning additional software and digital workflows, with training provided

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least two years of hands-on Exocad experience in a dental laboratory

• Is confident designing crown, bridge, implant cases and digital smile design

• Has good attention to detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work

• Is organised and able to manage multiple cases and deadlines

• Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team

• Is comfortable working in a busy digital laboratory

• Is open to learning and improving workflows

• Has full Australian working rights

Experience with cosmetic cases and Digital Smile Design would be an advantage.

• A salary of $75,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience
