We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Industrial A Grade Electrician to join our team as a Field Service Technician in Melbourne.

An attractive remuneration package with outstanding overtime opportunities are on offer. The role is supplied with tool of trade items including fully maintained company vehicle, tools, uniform, mobile phone and laptop computer.

What You Will Be Working On
Hands on role delivering high quality electrical and mechanical supportContract repair, preventative maintenance, installations and emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers in the Melbourne regionParticipation in the on-call roster and flexibility to work overtime including some weekendsFlexible to work day and afternoon shifts as part of the work roster.

Tasks and Qualifications:

SETTING YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

Experience in troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faultsStrong customer focus and quality service deliveryAustralian Electrical trade licence (or will consider restricted electrical licence)PLC experience in Siemens S7 and Scada WIN CC is idealExperience in automation (conveyors) and material handling equipment highly regardedExperience in computerised maintenance systems (CMMS)Experience in mechanical and pneumatic systemsExperience in hydraulic systems an advantageAbility to work unsupervised, make decisions and be results drivenStrong understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practicesCurrent driver’s license mandatoryExcellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
