Assistant Bar Manager - Woodcut

The Role

We are looking for an experienced hospitality professional to work closely with our Bar Manager in driving the bar programme at Woodcut. To succeed in this role, you’ll be highly organised, passionate about the drinks industry, and confident in building, leading, and inspiring a bar team. A positive, collaborative approach is essential.

Key Selection Criteria

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a premium bar environment.

• Available evenings and weekends

• Demonstrated success in fast-paced, high-volume service operations.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team.

• A genuine passion for the drinks industry and exceptional product knowledge.

• Creativity to contribute to the development and evolution of Woodcut’s drinks offering.

• Impeccable grooming standards suitable for a luxury environment.

• Excellent guest engagement and interpersonal skills.

• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster.

• Strong organisational skills and experience with back-of-house tasks (rostering, stock control, POS programming, etc.).
