Senior School English Teacher - 2 positions

We are seeking 2 Senior School English Teachers who are enthusiastic, passionate educators to join our team, in a Full-Time capacity for the 2027 school year.

Position 1 – Permanent - There are additional opportunities for pastoral leadership positions on offer

Position 2 – Fixed Term, Semester 1 2027

To be successful in these roles, you will be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to:

• Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning
• Create and maintain supportive and safe learning environments
• Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning
• Engage in professional learning
• Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the community.

Key Selection Criteria includes:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Current (or ability to attain) SA Teacher Registration
• Exemplary classroom practitioner with a proven record of student outcomes
• High level of ICT skills, knowledge and effective incorporation into classroom practice
• Working at least at proficient level, as described by the teacher professional standards, striving towards working at the HALT descriptors
• Regular and up-to-date professional knowledge and learning
• Involvement at relevant professional organisations.

You will have a high level of organisational ability, is flexible and can prioritise and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. Capable of thinking autonomously and use initiative, you also have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, and can quickly respond to new situations.
