Experienced Aged Care Cook Required for Residential Aged Care & Hotel Services 

This is a Permanent Part Time Position working as a cook in a modern and well equipped 94 bed Residential Aged Care Home situated in Wellington Point, QLD.

Aged Care cooking experience preferred as the role will require you to be a kitchen all-rounder. Including preparation of texture modified foods and alternative diets and function work.

You must possess the skills of a Cook be available for afternoon shifts and have the flexibility to cover other positions as required to cover leave.

The facility operates a dietician approved 4 week rotational menu which is changed seasonally. All food is prepared from scratch at our onsite kitchen. It is essential you have experience in a fast-paced kitchen and have a vast cooking knowledge and a positive attitude for working with the elderly.

Candidates must have a current police check, possess excellent communication skills, be physically fit and are passionate about the food they are creating for our Residents.

Must be available over weekends and public holidays. 

This position reports to the Head of Hotel Services on site.

Immediate start available to the right candidate.

Essential

• Must have a current national police certificate/NDIS check or be willing to complete a criminal history check

• Must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
