The role

Reporting to the General Manager – Risk & Compliance, the Senior Manager Compliance & Assurance leads the enterprise compliance framework and assurance program across Tabcorp. You’ll strengthen how we meet regulatory obligations, improve control effectiveness and provide clear, independent insights that support better decision-making and accountability. Specifically, you will:

• Lead the design and evolution of the compliance management framework
• Oversee adherence to regulatory obligations, policies and standards
• Develop and deliver a risk-based assurance program, continuously improving assurance methodologies and standards
• Lead reviews and testing to assess control effectiveness across key areas
• Lead business specific Quality Assurance and venue review functions
• Identify gaps and drive timely remediation of compliance issues
• Partner leaders to strengthen compliance culture and accountability

What you'll need to succeed

You’re a confident and pragmatic compliance leader who brings clarity to complex regulatory environments. You build trust with senior stakeholders, take a balanced and thoughtful approach, and use insight to strengthen frameworks, controls and outcomes across the business.

• Ability to effectively lead multi-functional teams and grow capability
• Experience in compliance, audit, risk or assurance environments
• Proven ability to design and embed compliance frameworks
• Strong capability influencing executives and stakeholders
• Experience delivering assurance programs, control testing and quality assurance functions
• Ability to identify risks and drive practical remediation actions
• Skill in building compliance awareness and capability across teams
• Experience within highly regulated industries such as financial services, wagering, banking, or gaming.
